    Peter Frishauf

    Peter, a fixture in New York City’s entrepreneurial hi-tech digital health scene, is best known as the founder of Medscape (www.medscape.com) in 1995. At the time he served as CEO of SCP Communications, Inc., the Manhattan-based medical information company he started 14 years earlier. Peter was inducted into the Medical Advertising Hall of Fame in 2013, and is listed in Richard Saul Wurman's March, 2002 book, Who’s Really Who as one of the 1,000 most creative people in the U.S. He is past president of the Healthcare Marketing & Communications Council, Inc. where members from the pharmaceutical, publishing, medical education and advertising industries worked to improve educational and promotional programs. He is a director of Crossix, Context Matters, and a member of the Medical Advisory Boards of Everyday Health, Milestone Venture Partners, TrialX, and the Markle Foundation's Connecting for Health initiative. A frequent speaker and author of hundreds of articles, Peter holds an M.S. in Journalism from Columbia University (1972); and a B.A. from NYU (1970).

    Asaf is a co-founder of Crossix and serves as Chief Executive Officer. He started Crossix in 2004 with over 10 years' experience in healthcare marketing and technology businesses. Asaf was named to the PharmaVOICE 100 which recognizes the 100 most influential people in the life sciences industry. Most recently, he was recognized as a PM360 ELITE honoree. Before founding Crossix, he was the co-founder and President of SoftWatch, a leading provider of healthcare CRM Internet solutions to pharmaceutical and healthcare clients such as GlaxoSmithKline, Novartis, Aventis, Abbott Laboratories, Johnson & Johnson, Schering-Plough, Medco Health Solutions, Medscape and the American Heart Association. Asaf also served as acting CEO for Dietwatch.com, an online subscription weight loss company spun-off from SoftWatch in 1999. From 2002 to 2004, Asaf served as EVP Business Development for InterCure Inc, an innovative medical device company, where he led marketing, sales and distribution in the U.S. market to a tenfold growth in revenue run rate. Asaf served for four years in the Israeli Navy Intelligence Unit. He holds a B.Sc., cum laude, in Mathematics and Computer Science, from Tel Aviv University.

    Andrew is a co-founder of Crossix and serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Andrew joined Crossix in 2004 from a career in Investment Banking focused on healthcare companies most recently at NM Rothschild in London where he helped to establish the Private Placement Group in Europe for Rothschild with responsibility for origination, structuring and distribution of pre-IPO, equity private placements as well as debt financing transactions. Prior to Rothschild, Andrew worked at Credit Suisse First Boston (now Credit Suisse) in New York in its Private Finance Group where he focused on raising private capital for companies and in its Healthcare Group where he gained broad corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions experience working with a wide range of public and private healthcare clients. He received his B.S.B.A., magna cum laude, from Georgetown University, his M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and his J.D. from Columbia University School of Law. Andrew serves on the Montefiore Advisory Council at Montefiore Medical Center. He is admitted to the New York State Bar.

    Dan Stein

    Dan serves as SVP, Analytics Services & Product Strategy, responsible for driving innovation across the Crossix product suite, including Digital and TV-based solutions. Prior to joining Crossix, Dan spent 8 years at Digitas and Digitas Health, where he led the Strategy and Analysis group in New York. At Digitas Health, Dan built a team focused on leveraging analytics to help pharma and health-focused clients optimize their marketing plans and partnerships. Dan brings over 16 years of digital, direct, and healthcare marketing experience. Previously, he worked at Scholastic where he developed interactive and direct marketing plans to support teachers and parents. He gained additional healthcare experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he designed and built comprehensive health & welfare systems for large companies. Dan graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Economics.

    Saar serves as Senior Vice President, Research & Development. He joined Crossix in 2005 from Itemfield Ltd, a leader in EAI (Enterprise Application Interface) market. Saar brings over 12 years of software development experience including in healthcare IT to Crossix. Saar previously worked for Excedo Technologies, a startup in Business Activity Monitoring market, where he was in charge of building the infrastructure for Excedo's J2EE based product. Prior to that he worked with Asaf at SoftWatch for over 6 years as SoftWatch's VP R&D and Chief Architect where he was responsible for product design and development. Saar has extensive managerial and hands on experience with both Java and Microsoft's enterprise architecture infrastructure. He holds a B.A. in computer science and an M.B.A from Tel Aviv University.

    Sarah serves as a Vice President, Analytics Services at Crossix and has over ten years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing analytics. Sarah joined Crossix in 2007 and has consulted with pharmaceutical brands across various therapeutic areas and business situations, including launch and loss of exclusivity. Sarah has strong knowledge of HCP and patient-level data, and extensive experience with measurement and optimization of pharmaceutical consumer marketing investments. Sarah holds a B.S. in Management Information Systems from Saint Joseph’s University.

    Shannon Gallagher serves as Vice President, Analytics Services at Crossix, where she leads the ongoing expansion of Crossix services and capabilities at the intersection of pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare. A veteran consultant in market research and data analytics for the pharmaceutical, healthcare and CPG sectors, Shannon is passionate about Crossix’s unique position to harness Big Data to empower better communication to the patient as a consumer. Prior to joining Crossix, Shannon spent 10 years working at Nielsen in Innovation Analytics, consulting on new product development for Rx and OTC/CPG manufacturers. Shannon holds a BA in Comparative Literature from Cornell University.

    Jeremy serves as Vice President, Industry Solutions at Crossix, having joined the company in 2008. Jeremy has a deep understanding of the innovative marketing analytics Crossix brings to its pharmaceutical brands, publishers and other clients and how they help to measure and optimize the range of campaigns and tactics in the marketplace. Jeremy has over 10 years of pharmaceutical and healthcare analytics and consulting experience, having previously worked at Synygy and Campbell Alliance with many of the top pharmaceutical companies. He holds a B.A., magna cum laude, in economics from the University of Rochester and an M.B.A. from New York University Stern School of Business.

    Jeff serves as VP, Business Development for the Crossix suite of analytics products and services. His focus is creating optimal partnerships with Crossix healthcare clients, enabling client insights, innovation, and effectiveness. Jeff brings 20 years of healthcare experience, including HCP, DTC, software, and analytics. He has held senior sales and business development positions at Zinc Ahead, PDR Network, Phreesia and WebMD, focusing on leveraging innovative platforms with BioPharma clients.

    VP, Business Development

    Joe Krokus brings 15 years’ experience in the digital advertising industry, selling a suite of targeting and measurement solutions to the CPG/OTC, Pharma and Retail verticals. These solutions are designed to generate sales lift, increase brand awareness and promote direct to consumer engagement leveraging TV analytics and digital engagement across display, search, email and social.

    Prior to Crossix, Joe was Vice President of Sales, North America TV Data and Analytics at Teletrax, which was acquired by 4C, the leading social media self-serve platform available to the holding companies. While working at Teletrax, he delivered the first enterprise level data and analytics sales contracts for partners leading the way in targeting TV commercials to consumers utilizing multi-screen.

    Before 4C, Joe was a Principal in the Digital Media Solutions group at IRI. He focused on IRI's emerging digital media practice that included a suite of digital targeting and measurement solutions to help manufacturers and retailers in the CPG, healthcare and retail industries deliver digital media more effectively while accurately measuring the impact of online advertising on offline sales. This is where he learned to commercialize propensity models that predicted the buying behavior of consumers across the Fortune 500 CPG brands.

    He first started in Digital Marketing while at DoubleClick (now Google), launching email marketing within the Tech Solutions Group. He has also worked in strategic sales at MediaMath and Monster.com. Early in his career, Joe was classically trained in sales while selling pharmaceuticals at Johnson & Johnson and Searle Pharmaceuticals.

    Tim serves as VP, Business Development, for the HCP business. He is responsible for the strategy and growth of our suite of offerings specifically tailored for the HCP marketplace. Prior to joining Crossix, Tim spent 6 years at Sermo, where he led the US business development team and forged partnerships with pharmaceutical companies; enhancing their professional social media strategy. Tim brings over 15 years of experience offering innovative, strategic solutions directly to pharmaceutical marketers and advertising professionals in the healthcare space. Tim is a graduate of Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, MD.

    Prior to joining Crossix, Phil was IPG Mediabrands’ SVP, Business Development, Products, where he was responsible for driving the growth of IPG Mediabrands' industry leading automated and data-driven offerings. Prior to joining IPG Mediabrands, Phil was at IRI’s Media Center of Excellence where he drove partnerships with Tier 1 publishers, ad tech and media research companies to create breakthrough solutions for CPG and retail companies seeking greater insight into the performance of their marketing investments.

    Phil began his career in traditional media but was an early digital émigré and became publisher of Internet World magazine and InternetWorld.com. Phil has held senior positions at several innovative Internet start-ups as well as tenures at United Business Media, Nielsen and Penton Media.

    With over 15 years of experience building and growing sales teams within the health media landscape, Josh is focused on continuing the company’s rapid sales growth across agencies and publishers. Having held senior management positions at digital health publishers Healthline and Vitals, as well as point of care leader Context Media Health, Josh has built a reputation in the industry for growing sales teams while ensuring cultural cohesiveness and consistent revenue growth. He has a B.A. in history from Gettysburg College.

    Ira Haimowitz is Vice President, Product Strategy, at Crossix. In this role, Ira helps accelerate new product innovation for Crossix’s range of patient-centered, data-driven marketing solutions. Ira also enhances client delivery as a subject matter expert, and provides thought leadership.

    Ira brings 20 years of leadership and consulting expertise developing innovative analytics solutions for sales and marketing across industries. Before Crossix, Ira was Principal, Team Leader of New Product Development for Media at Information Resources (IRI), serving clients in consumer packaged goods and OTC healthcare. These solutions included media planning and optimization, cross-channel campaign measurement, forecasting, pricing analytics, and marketing mix analyses.

    Before IRI, Ira led analytics teams at media and advertising agencies. At The CementBloc, Ira was EVP of Multichannel Operations and Analytics and led analytics, campaign operations, project management, and technology development. At Wunderman, Ira was VP, Group Director of Insights and Optimization. His clients across both agencies have included L’Oreal, Abbott, Nationwide Insurance, Novartis, Pfizer, and Bayer.

    In addition, Ira has also spent 13 years on the manufacturer side, leading analytics teams at pharmaceutical companies Pfizer and Organon (now Merck), as well as General Electric Research and Development. In these roles Ira has supported large sales forces with targeting and tracking solutions, has deployed digital media and website analytics platforms, and analyzed consumer shopping patterns at major retailers.

    Ira received his Ph.D. in Computer Science, as well as a Bachelor’s in Mathematics, from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He also has attained an M.Phil in Computer Speech and Language Processing from Cambridge University, on a Winston Churchill Foundation Scholarship. He is a frequent industry speaker and author, including the newly published book Healthcare Relationship Marketing by Gower Press. Ira has also served as President of the Pharmaceutical Management Science Association.

    Ira lives in Bronx, NY with his wife Barbara and his three children, Nathan, Eva, and Deborah. He enjoys jogging, cycling, golf, and camping. On top of Ira’s reading list are history books and science fiction.

    Bob is a serial media entrepreneur with a twenty year record of successful start up media businesses, all timed at the very onset of their developing markets. He helped found The Real Paper, a Boston weekly newspaper which spawned the film Between the Lines starring Jeff Goldblum and Jill Eikenberry. He is the Founder of National Cable Advertising, which grew to become NCC Media, now owned by Comcast, Time Warner and Cox. He then founded National Public Broadcasting (representing all the PBS and NPR stations in the US), now known as National Public Media, and owned by NPR, PBS and WGBH. NPB was recently the subject of a Harvard Business School Case Study. Bob holds a B.A. from Case Western Reserve University.

    Matt was most recently SVP and head of marketing for WebMD. Prior to that he was co-founder of Ecosys Consumer Analytics LLC, a subsidiary of Crossix. Together with Crossix, Matt started Ecosys in 2010 to provide analytics solutions for marketers in consumer health, over-the-counter and consumer packaged goods, as well as retailer and media/publishing clients. Matt brings 20+ years of experience leading new ventures and turnarounds in the consumer health and information services space. Prior to Ecosys, he founded Deutsche Ventures Corp, a new venture incubator and marketing innovation consulting practice, focused on big data analytics enabling more accountable marketing for consumer health advertisers. Before Deutsche Ventures, Matt was the founder and Managing Director of Nielsen Health, a business unit of The Nielsen Company. Matt also spent 10 years at Procter & Gamble in brand management developing and leading initiatives for over 10 new business ventures in 14 country markets in consumer packaged goods and consumer health. Matt received his MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and B.A. from Colby College.

    Chris is a Managing Director and leads the Healthcare practice area at Petsky Prunier LLC, a leading mid-market investment bank. Prior to joining Petsky Prunier, Mr. French served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Cadient Group, a leading strategic interactive marketing agency for life science companies. Previously, Mr. French spent eight years at Dendrite International, a provider of software, information and service solutions to the global life sciences industry. There he served in a number of capacities; including senior vice president of global solutions marketing and corporate development and general counsel. Mr. French is a graduate of Fordham University School of Law. He received a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

    Drew has over twenty five years of leadership experience in major areas of the healthcare industry with an emphasis in the life sciences, biopharmaceutical, and healthcare services sectors. Most recently, Drew was named CEO of Blend Therapeutics. Prior to Blend Therapeutics, Drew served as President, CEO and Director of Clinical Data, Inc. (CLDA) and transformed the company from a $100M market cap, traditional diagnostics business to a vigorous biopharmaceutical and personalized medicine company. Clinical Data was acquired by Forest Laboratories for over $1.2B. While at Clinical Data, Drew was named to BusinessWeek’s “CEOs 40 and Under.” Prior to Clinical Data, Drew served as President and CEO of DoctorQuality, Inc. (acquired by Quantros, Inc.), President, CEO and Director of Endo Surgical Devices, Inc. and Corporate Vice President, Business Development for Merck-Medco, a wholly owned subsidiary of Merck & Co. Inc. Drew holds a BA in Biology, pre-medical curriculum, from Brandeis University, cum laude.

    Matt co-founded and currently serves as President of Veeva Systems (NYSE:VEEV), a leader in cloud-based software for the global life sciences industry. In 2007, Matt was named to the PharmaVOICE 100 which recognizes the 100 most influential people in the life sciences industry. Before founding Veeva, Matt held various executive roles at small healthcare technology companies in product management, marketing and business development. Prior to his small company forays, Matt was the General Manager of the Pharmaceuticals & Biotechnology division at Siebel Systems, which has since been acquired by Oracle. Matt received his MBA from the Harvard Business School, with honors, and his B.A. in Economics from Yale University, cum laude.
