Marketing Communications Manager

Job Summary

Crossix, a rapidly growing, profitable company delivering healthcare marketing analytics solutions, currently seeks an experienced Marketing Communications Manager with an entrepreneurial spirit, passion for corporate & product communications, and motivation to make an impact on our team. The Marketing Communications Manager will play an integral strategic role in developing, executing, and optimizing the Crossix communications strategy, by integrating and expanding our internal & external communications initiatives across advertising, events, PR, thought leadership, and other relevant channels. This role will report to the Senior Director, Marketing & Communications.

Manage Marketing Plans & Programs
  • Cultivate deep understanding of Crossix corporate brand and all products within Crossix solution suite; apply this knowledge across all marketing efforts
  • Connect individual marketing & communications initiatives to the company's broader strategic vision and objectives
  • Ensure that Crossix core brand values, vision, voice, and attributes are consistently reflected throughout all communications
  • Develop internal & external marketing communications initiatives as aligned with company business priorities
  • Craft and execute programs within specified budgets & deadlines, including:
    • Advertising
    • Partner Marketing
    • Press/PR
    • Thought Leadership
  • Measure program effectiveness and communicate learnings
Lead Industry & Client/Partner Event Strategy
  • Ensure consistent participation in key industry events via speaking engagements and sponsorships
  • Research new event opportunities and develop business cases for Crossix participation
  • Engage directly with partner companies and event organizers to ensure professionally executed events
  • Design and orchestrate Crossix-hosted client/partner educational and social events
Drive Content Creation
  • Proactively identify new content opportunities that will drive enhanced visibility of the Crossix brand and product suite, while continually optimizing existing communications
  • Oversee creation of external communications (e.g., press releases, thought leadership articles, event presentations, etc.)
Collaborate Closely with Cross-Functional Teams
  • Meet regularly with product, client services, and business development teams to understand their respective marketing and sales support needs
  • Proactively supply teams with standardized support collateral, as well as customized materials for specific ad hoc needs
  • Solicit input from teams with respect to creation of various content (e.g., case studies, event presentations, thought leadership, benchmarks, etc.)


  • Competent in connecting the more tactical components of marketing to the "big picture" of the company's strategic vision and objectives
  • Excellent written, oral communication, and presentation skills (including strong proficiency with PowerPoint)
  • Proven abilities to cater writing style and language for different audiences and to transform complex or technical subject matter into easily digestible content
  • Able to form and nurture strategic relationships with partners, media outlets, and other third-party entities
  • Analytically-oriented problem solver

  • Overall, 7-10 years of professional experience
  • 5-7 years of experience contributing to brand and product marketing communications, PR initiatives, and events required
  • Experience managing internal staff members and external agencies/partners
  • Business-to-Business (B2B) marketing experience recommended
  • Exposure to or interest in the healthcare industry, especially in a small company environment, a big plus
  • Exposure to or interest in the power of "Big Data" driven analytics a plus
  • 4-year college degree required
